Members took a break on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum to enjoy Andy Goldsworthy's installation and a beautiful view.

Free time included visits to The National Academy's annual survey of Contemporary art, The Cooper Hewitt and a much needed seat on a couch in the garden.

We had a very special meeting with two of the Whitney Biennial artists, Julianne Swartz and Amy Cutler. Julianne's work can be seen at the Cristinerose/Josee Bienvenu Gallery in Chelsea. Amy's work can be seen at the Leslie Tonkonow Gallery in Chelsea.

Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn hosted us at her upper East side townhouse and gallery, Salon 94. We had a peek at her private collection that included David Hammons' piece entitled "On Loan" which gave the members a great subject for dinner conversations at the Boat House afterwards. Jeanne introduced us to Wang Qingsong's work showing us his first solo show in New York at her gallery, Salon 94.

On the way to our final night in NYC, we caught a glimpse of Yayoi Kusama's "Narcissus Garden," an installation of floating silver mirrored balls in Central Park's Conservatory Water.

The Boat House was the perfect setting for dinner and starting point for our tour of Central Park After Dark with the Urban Park Rangers.

We enjoyed getting to know our guides, the directors of the Urban Park Rangers and a wildlife specialist, for what was a truely unique and special adventure in Central Park after dark.

Leonardo, King of the Castle!

We climbed to the top of Central Park's Belvedere Castle and enjoyed the magnificent view of city lights surrounding the park after dark.

As we were leaving New York City, the rain started to fall and we saw Park Avenue with Benar Venet's sculpture slip from view out our taxi window. We knew we would be back soon.
